From Stephen R. Covey - the late, legendary author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - a new set of rules for achieving a happy and fulfilling life of primary greatness. Many of us are hurting. We have chronic problems, dissatisfactions, and disappointments. Although we generally make it through the day, a lot of us feel overwhelmed by burdens we carry. We try to "lift the load of life" each day, and sometimes it's just too much. The idea of living a "great life" seems a distant dream. Too often, however, we have the wrong idea of what a great life is. We think if only we had enough money, enough free time, enough good looks or popularity, everything would be great. If that's what makes for a great life, no wonder so many of us feel so weighed down by the demands of everyday living. Stephen R. Covey believed there were only two ways to live: a life of primary greatness or a life of secondary greatness. Through his classic books and seminars, he taught that the intrinsic rewards of primary greatness - integrity, responsibility, and meaningful contribution - far outweighed the superficial rewards of secondary greatness - money, popularity, and the self-absorbed, pleasure-ridden life that some people consider "success". Dr. Stephen R. Covey's teachings are beloved and have inspired countless listeners and leaders. Primary Greatness once again delivers classic Covey wisdom in a compact and digestible form. In this posthumous work, Covey lays out clearly the 12 levers of success that will lead to a life of primary greatness: integrity, contribution, priority, sacrifice, service, responsibility, loyalty, reciprocity, diversity, learning, teaching, and renewal. For the first time, Covey defines each of these 12 qualities and how they provide the leverage to make your daily life truly "great". 1. Language: English. Narrator: Sean Covey. You can’t escape the corporation! In the year 2028, a massive online corporation called Everest.Com will control everything we buy, including books, food, medical care, police protection, religion, political affiliations...Everything!When Senior Acquisitions editor, Tanya Teal, is fired from the last remaining NYC publishing house due to overwhelming competition from Everest.com's Cradle Direct Publishing service, she finds herself having to move back in with her parents in Upstate New York. Since she'll be hard pressed to ever find another editing job again, they persuade her to join the Everest Primary Program, which guarantees a living wage so long as she purchases Everest products exclusively. But after rekindling her love affair with an old boyfriend, Tony Smart, who is a Cradle Direct Publishing best seller, they drink a few too many and decide to visit one of their old haunts, Gus's Hotdog Shack. They know it's illegal, since they are both Primary Members, but what can one hotdog hurt? That one simple decision leads to their Primary Termination and a horrific hunt on behalf of the Everest Police that begins inside Tanya's own Everest AI-monitored home and that leads up into the mountains and the home of the Everest Resistance. It also leads to a stunning revelation over the precise fate of terminated members - the prisons they are incarcerated in and the massive fulfillment centers where they are used as slave labor.Part cyberpunk thriller, part dystopian apocalyptic puse-resistant, part romantic suspense, part paranoid military adventure, and even part alternate reality, Primary Termination is a three novel series that’s a direct if not frightening reflection on the realities of present day and near future global commerce, not to mention all knowing AI development and personal date storage. Think the Matrix meets The Hunger Games or Logan’s Run meets The Man in the High Castle. From New 1. Language: English. Narrator: Lisa S. Ware. A book for finding purpose and strength in times of great despair, the international best-seller is still just as relevant today as when it was first published. "This is a book I reread a lot . . . it gives me hope . . . it gives me a sense of strength." -Anderson Cooper, Anderson Cooper 360/CNN This seminal book, which has been called "one of the outstanding contributions to psychological thought" by Carl Rogers and "one of the great books of our time" by Harold Kushner, has been translated into more than fifty languages and sold over sixteen million copies. "An enduring work of survival literature," according to the New York Times, Viktor Frankl's riveting account of his time in the Nazi concentration camps, and his insightful exploration of the human will to find meaning in spite of the worst adversity, has offered solace and guidance to generations of readers since it was first published in 1946. At the heart of Frankl's theory of logotherapy (from the Greek word for "meaning") is a conviction that the primary human drive is not pleasure, as Freud maintained, but rather the discovery and pursuit of what the individual finds meaningful. Today, as new generations face new challenges and an ever more complex and uncertain world, Frankl's classic work continues to inspire us all to find significance in the very act of living, in spite of all obstacles. A must-read companion to this classic work, a new, never-before-published work by Frankl entitled Yes to Life: In Spite of Everything, is now available in English.

Pieter was born in Kuruman in 1964, a town which is part of the Northern Cape in South Africa, better known as the Kalahari. He studied education at teachers' college and specialized in primary school mathematics and educational speech and drama. His university majors for the secondary school focused on languages, namely, English and Afrikaans. He started his teaching career as a teacher of English but art has always been his true passion and through a series of interesting events, he became an art teacher in 1998; he has been in the colourful classroom for the last twenty-two years. As a result of his art teaching career, he became interested in the arts therapies and embarked on further part-time studies. In 2008 he obtained his PhD from the University of Pretoria in Learning Support, Guidance and Counselling with a dissertation entitled: The impact of narrative arts activities on the self-concept of grade 9 learners in group context. His postgraduate studies investigated the value the arts (plural) hold for self-insight. His studies opened a new door for him, which is to occasionally present motivational courses to people who require self-insight, by harnessing the therapeutic aspects of the arts to "awaken" people to their own potential. These activities he calls motivational narrative arts activities. He is passionate about art making and believes that being creative grants us opportunities to reconnect with ourselves and to rediscover our forgotten dreams and talents. Being a full-time teacher does not allow him much time to do traditional art work on a large scale. He enjoys doing "quick" abstracts or spout drawings (and still life paintings - when he has time to concentrate) during school holidays. Since the completion of his PhD-studies he participated in a number of exhibitions. He has exhibited on three continents thus far. In August 2012 he left South Africa to become an art teacher at an international school in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In August 2016 he moved to China and accepted art teaching roles in Suzhou and Wuhan. In August 2018 he returned to Saudi Arabia. As a result of his international teaching experiences he wrote and published three books in which he describes life and his artistic ventures in his host countries. Creating a series of colouring books, based on his own work, is his latest publishing venture. His other interests are: photography, video production, creating music as an amateur, cooking, gardening and collaborating with other artists.
